What I heard at the store

While at the grocery store today, I heard a conversation between a guy in his late 50s and his 6-year-old (est.) son. I’d seen them in two spots before this conversation and it sounded like the son really wanted to go home but the dad kept looking at a bunch of stuff. They both had really thick New York accents. It went like this…

Dad: Why do you have to make things so hard?
Son: Dad. You wanna know why I make things so hard? Cause you make me the most tired in my life!

It made me laugh, especially since the kid had such a strong accent.
