Wendy Mae: 9 months

Wendy survived 9 months! She really is amazing.

She had her 9 month check up yesterday and it went surprising well! She only cried a little (not bloody murder) when she got her shots and didn't even cry AT ALL when she had to have blood drawn and they even had to wiggle the needle around for a while because they couldn't find her vein!

Her 9 month stats:
Height: 28.25 inches (75th%)
Weight: 20 lbs 7 oz (75th%)
Head: 10th%

Jane at 9 months:
Height: 27.5 inches (50th %)
Weight: 17 lbs 12 oz (25th %)
Head: 50th %

This is one little girl who LOVES food! She still screams and grabs at me like she hasn't eaten all day for the 5 seconds it takes for me to get ready to nurse her even though she was completely content and laughing right before I set her down. And, she screams in between bites of food. From the moment the spoon leaves her mouth until it's back in she is fussy. I have started feeding her through a straw so I don't have to hear it :)

She loves playing with Jane but has started crying even when Jane walks by her in fear she's going to get hurt. I don't blame her and I feel bad for her :( She's taking maybe 3 naps a day but we're so busy each day, she hardly gets her third one. She army crawls super fast and far, pulls herself up into standing position into her crib and holds on with one hand, and just got her 7th tooth! I am sure the eighth one is days away.

Here are some pictures taken hours after shots so she wasn't too happy but had to have photos for this post...

Her new name is Squishy. Even Jane says, "Hey Squishy! Come here Squishy. You're so Squishy!", as she pats her cheeks a little too hard.

Love you Squishy Mae!

7 teeth?! My little babe is nearing 10 months and is finally getting her first! Any trouble with biting?
