Typical "Wendy hair" before bed the other night:
Her cute little piggy's as she watches the landscapers work:
She even lets me do it while she sits in my lap (at least for now) so as long as I'm not lazy or rushing somewhere Wendy can look like a girl!
Because I haven't had a Wendy post for a while, here are her stats from her 18-month check-up (where we learned she had had an ear infection for the past little while)...
Weight: 27 lbs 6 oz (90%)
Height: 32.5 inches (75%)
Head 18 inches (25%!!!!!!! has always been the 5th %!!!)
She's a snugly little chunky monkey who still only says 3 words (momma, dadda and hi). She gives the same cute little smile when she's being innocent and cute or super naughty so it KILLS me! She cannot stand Jane being in my lap and can be really feisty to get her out of it. She will eat at meals FOREVER and is completely content sitting in her chair while we linger at the table talking. Overall, we are SO grateful to have a sweet snuggler but man, she can squeeze a tear out at the drop of the hat. We're trying to figure out an emotional scale with her. A couple tears and she's really actually fine, a few rolling down her face with crying and she's probably irritated but can deal with not being able to eat right at that moment. Bloody murder screaming, waterfall snot and a bazillion tears means she hates the sand and no tears with a soft whimper means she's actually really hurt and needs emergency attention. It's weird.
